Mandalas are geometric designs that are found throughout nature in plants, planetary orbits, Earth magnetic fields and in art throughout all of human history and cultures of the world. Drawings and paintings of these patterns are used by people everywhere to create beautiful art, find peace and connect.
In this class you will learn how to draw and paint a mandala, and return home with your new painting and knowledge!
The Pour Your Art Out series consists of 60-minute artmaking sessions designed for children and adolescents. Sessions will be taught by Miami visual artists and will explore different themes, cultures and topics to inspire fun and creativity.
Local health and safety guidelines will apply, and every child will receive an art kit upon arriving.
Girl Scouts participating in the workshop will also earn an Adrienne Arsht Center badge!
One guardian admission is complimentary with each paid child admission. Each child and guardian group will be seated at their own table.
