About this Event
Making coffee- add hot water to ground coffee. Simple, right? But what happens when you brew the same coffee with different water or if you manipulate your water to change the taste experience in the final cup? The first in a series of pour over classes, we will answer this question by focusing on exploring water in your pour over coffee.
We will briefly review pour over technique and then will spend the majority of the class on exploring different water and how different mineral contents affect the final cup. We will be experimenting with several different waters as well as adding different minerals to make our own water. There will be collaborative tasting and evaluating as we really dive into this next level pour over class topic.
Please note that participants should have basic knowledge and ability to brew a coffee by hand. We will go over technique briefly but the focus will be on the water.
