About this Event
Acrylic pour painting is a technique used to create paintings with natural flowing patterns. The effect is created by combining acrylic paint with a liquid medium. This mixture is then “poured” onto a surface and spread around by means of tilting the surface or manually manipulating the paint.
During the class, you'll be provided with a specially prepared bear-shaped canvas, which serves as a playful and unconventional canvas for your artistic expression. Under the guidance of our expert instructors, you'll learn various pouring techniques, color blending methods, and how to manipulate the paints to create mesmerizing patterns and effects. Our dedicated team is here to make your experience seamless. We'll set up your tool package, completed with gloves, bear statue/charm (add on), and all the paint you'll need.

Canvas/bear, paint, gloves, apron, and foil tray can be used as a to-go tray. Purchase option are listed below. 2person per bear maximum.

The Fluid Bear Painting class is suitable for individuals of all skill levels, from beginners seeking a creative outlet to experienced artists looking to explore new artistic avenues. No prior painting experience is necessary, as our patient instructors will guide you through each stage of the process.
Keep in mind that we will be working with fluid paint and it gets messy. Drying time depends on how much paint is left on the canvas. No worries, you can purchase a custom to-go box if you’re in a hurry. If not, you can stick around and mingle, play games, listen to music, have a drink, or go ride the trolley. It's a time to explore the South Main Arts District and find all those places you didn't know were open. If the weather is nice, you can expect a pretty good crowd. The trolley is free and runs until 12:00am.
