Let's all POUND THE PAVEMENT to support those affected by cancer. The 12th Annual Pound the Pavement is scheduled for Sunday, October 6th.
The POUND THE PAVEMENT is a Color Fun Run. It is a 5K walk/run event. At each kilometer mark, Pound the Pavement runners/walkers are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color.
And, that's just the beginning of the fun!
Once the run/walk is over, the fun continues at the finish line with a visit to the Sea Dog and two (2) complimentary beverages for all those 21 years of age and over! Don't miss the party with photo ops, friendship, and celebration!
For Pancreatic Cancer and All Cancers! This is a unique race created to help support those who have been affected by cancer.
The FIRST 200 registered will get a FREE goodie bags. This YEAR, there will be 20 Visa Gift Cards randomly placed in the bags.
REGISTER BEFORE AUGUST 1st. All individuals registering by August 1st will receive a FREE Pound the Pavement Tshirt.
FUNDRAISE and support the Purple Iris Foundation and receive awards based on the amount of funds raised!

We are looking for individuals and businesses to sponsor any CANCER SURVIVOR that wants to participate. We want to make sure any CANCER SURVIVOR wanting to be part of this will be allowed to participate for FREE! Contact us if you are interested in providing support.
All proceeds go to our programs, helping individuals living in Maine who are dealing with the effects of cancer.
