Her pound cakes are legendary... and now her pound cake BOOK is on its way to becoming the same! Join local baker extraordinaire and newly published author Carole Albyn for a fun afternoon of tasting and talking as she sells and signs her new book, The Sweet Book of Perfect Pound Cakes!
During the first hour (2-3 PM), free samples of some of Carole's pound cakes (she swears she doesn't have favorites, so we just picked a couple we thought sounded delicious!) will be available for attendees, and Carole will be selling and signing her book.
Then, from 3-4 PM (after the store closes at 3), ticketholders can then stay for a practical baking workshop to learn the secrets to a perfect pound cake, just in time for the holiday baking season.
Tickets are on sale at the link posted on this event and include a signed copy of The Sweet Book of Perfect Pound Cakes, along with samples and a cup of coffee or tea.
