Poughkeepsie Bridge Franny Reese and Illinois Mountain parks visit

It's a free event! Rain can't stop us!

April 8 (Saturday)

We start at 07:45 AM at Penn station!

This time we are going to visit Franny Reese state park with the longest bridge at east coast of USA.

We will pass through the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park and Illinois Mountain Park.

It will be a one-day trip so bring some snacks and water. Total distance about 9 miles.

Please expect 40 to 65 degrees outside. We suggest get train tickets in advance.

Plan:

07:45 AM - Meeting at Hudson Booksellers at Pennsylvania Station NY.

08:15 AM - Departure from Penn Station NY to Poughkeepsie NY.

09:45 AM - Arriving at Poughkeepsie station and meeting the other part of the group.

10:00 AM - Moving to Franny Reese state park.

01:45 PM - Lunch at Highland NY.

or move back to Poughkeepsie station.

06:30 PM - Train to NY from Poughkeepsie station.
