About this Event
Come clean up the trails and paths around the Poudre River in Fort Collins, CO. The Gustav Swanson and Homestead Natural Areas have accumulated debris after a summer of heavy use and stormwater runoff. We will help the Fort Collins Open Space Rangers to help clean these areas in need of our collective action.
Join our cleanup crew for a chance to win a United by Blue backpack and other amazing giveaways. Stick around for snacks and an afterparty at New Belgium Brewing. Kids are more than welcome to attend!
All cleanup gear (gloves, pickers, buckets, & trash bags) will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves if preferred. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes, and don't forget sun protection and rain gear (just in case! โ๏ธ). Lastly, be sure to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. ๐งA water cooler will be available for refills.
Getting there: Bike, walk, or drive to the Old Fort Collins Heritage Park. There is limited parking so we encourage volunteers to walk, bike, or carpool.
We cannot wait to see you there!
