Pottery Wheel Session

This is an all inclusive wheel throwing session designed to introduce beginners to the basics of wheel throwing.
You will learn:
+ Centering clay on the wheel
+ How to form cylinders
+ Simple bowl forms
+ Simple Shapes
Included:
+ Clay
+ Use of tools and equipment
+ Choice of clear or white glaze
+ Glaze firing
+ Glass of Hunter Valley Bubbly
What you need to bring:
+ Creativity- All experience levels welcome!
+ Short nails
+ Apron and a towel
+ Wear old clothes for getting dirty
+ Sense of humour
+ BYO Nibbles and Wine if you want to make a day of it!
Choosing this class lets you skip straight to the fun parts of playing on the wheel. Your clay will be prepared for you and then your finished pieces will be dried and fired with a choice of clear or white glaze.
Finished pieces will be ready in 4-5 weeks for pick up or postage.
