Are you a mum and wanting to meet other mums in Bristol? Have you also ever wanted to try your hand on the potters wheel? Look no further. This is your chance to come and have a go at working on the potters wheel while meeting other creative mums in Bristol!
I'm an experienced ceramicist and pottery tutor in Bristol. Im also a mum. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and people with some experience. In this two hour session, I will be introducing you to the basic techniques of the craft of pottery throwing. You will get a demonstration of each step of the process and then I will guide you throughout the session in the creating of your own bowl and cylinder shapes. By the end of the session you will be able to make a piece of pottery on the wheel by yourself. I will glaze and fire up to two of your creations for you, included in the price.
This is a welcoming space to be creative, mindful and expressive, and learn all the foundations you need to make pottery on the wheel. There will be tea & coffee provided, tunes playing, and plenty good vibes. Everything you need to complete the workshop will be provided - all you need to bring is your wonderful-self!
