About this Event
Mmmm, nothing like morning brew or tea…. in your own custom mug! This 3-hour instructor lead class will cover the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. With all materials included, participants can expect to make 1-3 mugs which they can then choose a color, so staff may glaze them. This is a great class for those wanting to try their hand at the wheel or rediscover a past passion for clay. Finished objects can be taken home and filled up with your hot beverage of choice 2-3 weeks after the class.
Age requirement: 12 years old and up

Due to the format of these single drop-in classes, open studio in ceramics is not included. However, each class length is 3 hours providing ample time to learn, make, and still have time to clean up. All materials are included. VAI students holding flex passes may sign up as space allows and are asked to pay an additional materials fee of $12.50 Referral and other discounts do not apply to single drop-in classes.
VAI requires a minimum of 3 people to host a class. Classes that do not meet this minimum may be cancelled and any registered students transferred to a different workshop. We will contact you if this is necessary.
