Level up your next game night with hand sculpted, personalized game board and game pieces! As you learn the pottery basics from our expert host during this clay sculpting class at Tavern of Tales!
In this inclusive, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn to make game board, pieces, mugs, and more! Choose from a tic-tac-toe board, dice, a playing card holder, pieces for your favorite game...or anything else you'd like!

Saturday 8/3 from 11am-1:30pm at Tavern of Tales: Café & Bar (1478 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02120)
Each ticket includes:
- 2.5 hour workshop on pottery basics, including slab building, and how to add surface decoration to pottery
- 30 minute painting session
- Our signature 'Deluxe Beginner Pottery Kit' which includes everything you need to sculpt your game board, game pieces or whatever you can dream up, during class (and yours to take home to create more after class!!).
Note: You can let your piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint. Or, to make your pottery waterproof + foodsafe, upgrade to ceramic pieces, which includes glazing and firing of your creations. Your pieces ship back to you in 6-8 weeks.
