This one day course will take you through four popular pottery techniques, ie: pinching, coiling, slab building and pot throwing using a pottery wheel giving you an excellent, all round introduction to pottery, all in a day! During the day you will make either a coiled bowl, pot or planter, plus a slabbed vase mug or jug then, finally, throw your very own pot on one of our potter's wheels. If time permits, you could also have a go at pinching a set of dishes or making a delightful little figure, sculpture or bird. By the end of the session you should have created 4 pieces that will be dried and fired for you to collect a few weeks later.
