The Branigan Cultural Center will have Albert Alvidrez of Ysleta del Sur Pueblo join us to give a pottery demonstration as a part of "Land of the People" exhibit.Join us on Wednesday, November 12, from 5pm to 6pm MST to learn about Mr. Alvidrez's traditional methods of pottery making.
This demonstration is in coordination with the exhibition, “Land of the People: Shimba Tainin kau natheure wein – Tierra Sagrada - Ndende bì Ke’ya - Naf'ole atsihem - Nde benah - Ndee Bikáá,” on display now through November 20, with additional rotations open until May 2027, and will take place in-person at the Branigan Cultural Center, 501 N. Main St.
Admission to the museums is FREE. No registration required. Recommended for ages 13 and up.
