Production Pottery 101 – Learn the Art of Efficiency and Craftsmanship
Join us for a hands-on class designed for experienced potters looking to refine their skills and explore what it means to be a production potter. This is not a beginner’s class—participants should already be comfortable with throwing, trimming, and working with clay.
Over two sessions (2hrs each)
SESSION 1: Tuesday MARCH 4TH - 6PM - 9PM
SESSION 2: Wednesday MARCH 5TH - 6PM - 9PM
You’ll focus on essential techniques such as throwing pots, pulling handles, trimming, all while discussing the mindset and workflow needed for production pottery.
Meet Your Instructor: Art Emerson
Art Emerson has been working with clay since the 1960s, having studied pottery as part of his Art Education degree. He later served as Director and Instructor of U.S. Army Arts and Crafts Shops in the United States, Germany, and Korea.
