About this Event
Join us this V-day for a cute & wholesome clay workshop making welsh love spoons! Bring a friend, a date or fly solo down to the pub and get stuck in creating with clay!
What to expect:
✰ Workshop begins with 15 minute introduction and demonstration (so try to arrive on time!)
✰Learn basic handbuilding skills and techniques to make your spoon (transferrable to other clay projects)
✰Play with sculpting decorative elements to adorn your spoon
✰A teacher will be on hand to guide you through the process of making your love spoon
What you'll get:
✰ 3 hours of creative crafting time in a fun, lively pub (drinking is welcome!)
✰1kg of clay to use in the building and decoration of your love spoons
✰ Access to all the tools and equipment required for handbuilding - including decorative tools and textures
✰Optional glazing and firing service - you may pick from one of our ready mixed glazes
✰Work should be ready for collection in 3-4 weeks
Ticket options:
We are offering a tiered ticketing system for the workshop to limit barriers to access. There are limited tickets available for the lower tiers so please pay what you can according to your income. Please refer to the tier system below:
Tier 1: Irregular employment; low wage or no income
Tier 2: Regular exployment; medium wage ; some expendable income
Tier 3: Secure employment; high wage; plenty of expendable income
We are also offering optional firing and glazing at an additional £10 - please make your selection at checkout!
