SCHEDULE:
Arrive to Inflate (if applicable) - 10:30am
Launch - 11:00am
Happy Hour - 1:00pm (Island Time Bar & Grill)
Consider bringing your own:
Trash collection container(s)
Trash Grabber (I recommend one that extends!)
Bungee cords
Gloves
Towels
Water shoes
Hand Sanitizer
This is a BYO vessel event. There may be an opportunity to rent boards and kayaks at Columbia Island Marina. You’ll need to inquire with them directly. https://boatingindc.com/columbia-island-marina/
This event is a self-supported paddle suitable for all levels. Participants will likely be encountering boat traffic and slight currents. Paddlers are required to have a Coast Guard approved I, II, III or V PFD and a whistle.
We will not be traveling in a group. Make sure you feel comfortable paddling solo.
