About this Event
While most trash pollution washes up along the shoreline, some river pollution is deposited into less accessible areas by rising tides. They go unaddressed and accumulate over months, even years; we say it's time to finally tackle this pollution!
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, PRKN and FoDM will host a clean-up targeting both shoreline and cumulative trash. The clean-up will run along the entire Dyke Marsh boardwalk.
For these clean-ups, please bring the following:
- Warm clothes and gloves, ideally an extra pair of shoes and socks
- Waders or water resistant pants
