The Potomac Playmakers is proud to announce auditions for the third mainstage production of the 2025-2026 Season, “Whodunit … The Musical” by Ed Dixon! A wealthy American spinster and her Cockney maid arrive at their summer home in Connecticut, only to discover a dead body in the living room. Then another. What did the strange butler and other house guests see? When the Inspector calls searching for a clue, the knives come out and things get really strange. Murder he wrote? In this case, it’s a musical comedy to die for! Directed by Ruth Ridenour with kind permission of Broadway Licensing Global, auditions for “Whodunit … The Musical” will be held on November 10 and November 11, 2025 at The Potomac Playmakers Performing Arts Center, located at 17303 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740. Auditions start at 7:00 p.m. and will consist of cold readings from the script. Performers are asked to prepare 36 bars of music from other shows, and are encouraged to bring their own prerecorded music or accompaniment. Performers of all ages, races, and gender identities are encouraged to audition. The script calls for three male and three female performers, with the possibility of multiple roles being added.
