The Potomac Playmakers is pleased to present its second show of the 2024-2025 Season, the Arthur Miller drama “A View From The Bridge!” Arthur Miller's 1955 play, which unpacks the destructive nature of obsessive love, runs November 15-17 and November 22-24, 2024 with two Sunday matinees.First premiering on Broadway in 1955, the play is set in 1950’s New York, and details what happens when Italian American dockworker Eddie welcomes two cousins from Sicily, Marco and Rodolpho, into his home. Soon Rodolpho and Catherine, Eddie's niece, take a shine to one another, setting in motion a tragic chain of events.
Directed by Cathy James, and produced with kind permission from Dramatists Play Service Inc., the cast includes John Cantor, Richard Dobson Jr., Richard Dobson Sr., Tom Doty, Amy Fox, Kim Jones, Susan Kleit, Anna Ressler, Tannen Smith, Tod Williams, Sheri Babcock, and Ty Unglebower. General Admission tickets for all performances are $20, and $15 for Senior Citizens aged 65 and older.
