Join us for a potato-themed potluck, where every dish is a tribute to the mighty spud! From mashed to fried, baked to scalloped—bring your best potato creation to share. Enjoy a night of delicious food, great company, and all things potato! Gluten-free and vegetarian options are always appreciated, and we encourage everyone to bring their own reusable plates and utensils from home (we will have paper and plastic options available).We will also be hosting our quarterly McKinney-Vento donation drive. Every quarter we collect shelf-stable food items to assemble "snack bags" for students and families in the USD 259 McKinney-Vento program during our monthly potluck. The McKinney-Vento Program provides services for students and families in Wichita to help them overcome obstacles and barriers such as homelessness so that students can be successful in school.
About Wichita Oasis. Wichita Oasis is a non-religious community for people to come together to connect, be inspired, and feel empowered. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings and programming may include featured speakers, live local musicians, potlucks, service projects, game days, and more. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee and conversation. For more information, find us at wichitaoasis.org
