Come join the Shop Elves as we create a list of ingredients (and side effects for humans), and devise a name for your very own potion!
Here at Grimm & Co we have been concocting potions, lotions, elixirs and herbaceous brews for centuries. All manner of magical beings flock to the doors of the Apothecary every day to pick up their much needed supplies of our most popular potion ingredients; ingredients such as Success Stimulant, A Pinch of Happiness and even Grandma's Scabs.
Some ingredients are better sourced at different times of the year, and the winter months bring with them fresh ingredients such as Sparkling Frost, Super Green Shoots and Bashful Blushes.
Graham Grimm, our proprietor, is known for being rather grumpy, especially when the nights draw in, so the Shop Elves think that in order to make the best seasonal potions for our magical customers, we need to turn to the wonderful young people of South Yorkshire for help.
Come join the Shop Elves as we prepare the labels, create a list of ingredients (and side effects for humans), and devise a name for your brand new potion. Sift and funnel the ingredients into the glass jar, add a cork stopper and your label, and take home your very own unique bottled potion!
Cost: £11.50 per child participating (plus Eventbrite fees). Includes corked glass bottle filled with up to 250g of bath salt potion and own written kraft label to take home plus a mini colour-changing potion drink (magical lemonade!)
Age: 5 - 18 years
Please book a ticket for every child attending. Please note, adults must stay with their child for the duration of this event.
*Our potions are not edible. Humans (weirdly) use them as bath salts.
Please note that Grimm & Co has recently become a Family Hub Satellite and as such we will be sharing our sign-up data with the local authority. This notification is just to let you know about this and that we'll be sharing your young person's name, post code and date of birth for reporting purposes. Do let us know if you'd rather we not do this.
