About this Event
The 2024 Dr Garret FitzGerald Memorial Lecture will take place at 17:00 on 23 May at National University of Ireland, 49 Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
We are delighted that Dr Katriona O'Sullivan will be giving this lecture, entitled 'Potential and Poverty: How can we ensure everybody thrives'. Dr O'Sullivan is a lecturer at Maynooth University in Digital Skills. A response to her lecture will be given by Niamh OMahoney of University College Cork, who also received the NUI Dr Garret FitzGerald Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Higher Education Studies.
The lecture will focus on widening participation and access within higher education, and how we can foster fairness and equality in the sector.
