About this Event
On March 13th from 5-6pm, attendees will be using carved potatoes to block print black and/or green themed images onto canvas napkins. Attendees over 18 are welcome to carve their own while supplies last, but pre-carved options will be available.
All skill levels welcome!
Ages: All ages*
*Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All supplies included (unless you'd like to bring your own canvas material to print on!)
Only (20) canvas napkins are available, but if participants would prefer to print on their own canvas materials, the workshop can accomodate more than (20) participants.
This workshop is free and open to the public, but your RSVP gives us an idea on what to expect! We accept walk-ins and RSVPs, but all spaces are first come, first served - an RSVP does not guarantee your space. Please arrive on time.
With help from the City of Norfolk and their Program for Improving Capacity and Capability (PICC) Grant, the d'Art Center is able to bring back free programming for our community, but we need your help to gather information required by the grant to meet our goal in Connecting the Community with the Visual Arts. Before the activity begins, attendees will be asked to fill out a Participation Card that includes questions such as age range, zip code, etc.
Questions? Email [email protected]
Please be courteous of the instructor, the Coordinators, and other participants who wish to participate, we understand that plans can change, but *please* do let us know if you are no longer able to attend with your RSVP.
***No-shows that are repeat offenders, will no longer have their RSVPs honored in order to better accommodate other available participants.***
Please email [email protected] to remove your rsvp if you are no longer able to attend.
