This is a doctor-led 4-week movement series for postpartum people.The goal of the class is to educate on intentionally recovering postpartum while reintroducing exercise safely.
We will focus on core and pelvic floor function but will also work on postural strength, upper body, and lower body strength.
Each session will begin with 10 minutes of discussing different postpartum educational topics including pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, DRA, hormone Dysfunction, and postpartum nutrition. We’ll then move on to exercises using resistance bands, dubbers, kettlebells, and barbells - there will be modifications as needed.
You will also leave with eight 15-20 minute workouts to continue at home.
