- Chanel Jones is a passionate advocate for maternal and family well-being, bringing her expertise and dedication to every aspect of her work. As a Birth Doula, Birth Doula Trainer, and Childbirth Educator, Chanel has supported countless families through the transformative journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
In addition to her hands-on roles, Chanel is a Maternal Mental Health Volunteer with the Postpartum Resource Center of New York, providing invaluable support to mothers navigating the challenges of postpartum mental health. She also serves as a Peer Support Specialist, leveraging her training and lived experience to empower and uplift others in her community.
Through her organization, Chanel’s Comforting Doula Care (chanelscomfortingdoulacare.com), Chanel offers compassionate and personalized care, ensuring families feel educated, supported, and empowered during one of life’s most significant milestones.
Chanel’s unwavering commitment to maternal health and her multifaceted expertise make her an invaluable resource for families and communities alike.
- Makeetah Cochy is a dedicated Postpartum and Birth Doula with a deep passion for supporting mothers during one of the most transformative periods of their lives. Through her work, Makeetah has witnessed the profound impact of providing emotional support and a compassionate listening ear to mothers who may have experienced a challenging or traumatic birth. Her care ensures that mothers feel seen, heard, and less isolated during their postpartum journey.
Makeetah is committed to promoting maternal wellness, particularly for Black mothers, and is an active part of initiatives like the Black Maternity Wellness Collective offered through the Long Island Doula Association. Her work embodies a holistic approach to care, recognizing the importance of both emotional and physical well-being for new mothers.

- Dr. Lennox Bryson is a highly experienced and board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 25 years of dedicated service in women’s health. Dr. Bryson obtained his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC), where he has served as an attending physician since 2000.
Currently, Dr. Bryson is the Director of Ambulatory Services for the Women’s Health Center at NUMC, providing leadership and care to a diverse population of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His passion for patient care and commitment to excellence has earned him recognition in the medical community, including being named a Patients' Choice Award Winner and Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award recipient.
Dr. Bryson takes pride in offering personalized, compassionate care to his patients and specializes in addressing a wide range of obstetrical and gynecological needs. With a career spanning over two decades, he remains dedicated to empowering women through exceptional healthcare.
