This course runs on the same day at the same time for 8 weeks. Tuesday 18th February is skipped for half term holidays.This 8 week programme is designed to rebuild your overall strength and wellness, with particular focus on your pelvic floor and core.
The sessions use contemporary Pilates techniques and body-weight exercises. It is suitable and adaptable for all levels, 6 weeks post vaginal birth and 12 weeks post caesarean birth.
Come with or without your baby.n(If your mobile baby is happy in a playpen then they are welcome too). The programme includes 8 face to face classes at our Northampton clinically-based studios including our usual range of quality refreshments. Class sizes are small and ensure lots of 1:1 support and guidance.
Whilst a weak pelvic floor and minor urinary incontinence is extremely common in many female life stages…it shouldn’t be normal or generally accepted! With guidance, education and support you can rebuild the strength in this area along with your confidence. Pilates is a great form of exercise for women of all life stages, it is low impact, works the muscles deeply and is shown to provide benefits even when done only once a week.
