This posterior implantology course is designed to provide practicing dentists with the knowledge and skills necessary to start planning and placing implants in their offices. This course will focus on treatment planning, use of CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, planning software, and surgical guides. Extraction, bone grafting, surgical technique, and suturing will be covered.
Participants will be trained in placing Nobel Biocare implants, surgical kits, and prosthetic components. Additional topics such as periodontal considerations and implant failures/complications will be covered. Participants will learn about the latest advances in implant materials and techniques.
The course will include in-person lectures, virtual planning meetings, hands-on workshops, live patient surgeries, and case presentations with review to help dentists gain practical experience to start implementing surgical placement of implants in their offices.
Live Credit Hours: 88 hours
Virtual Credit Hours: 27 hours

TOTAL: 115 hours
Tuition: $12,000 for AGD Dentists
Tuition: $16,000 for Non-AGD Member Dentists
Included with Tuition: Nobel Implant Surgical Kit, up to 10 Implants and Salvin Dental Bone, Membranes and Sutures and onsite usage Nobel Surgical Implant Kits. Surgical Kits and Implants are donated by Nobel.

Doctor’s Patient Selection
Dentists will follow guidelines when selecting a patient from their office to participate in the implantology course. These guidelines may vary depending on the specific level of experience of the dentist and the patient.
