About this Event

Ink, styrofoam and paper - turn these three materials into a cool and creative poster to take home!

In this workshop with Sally-Anne Stewart, you will learn to carve your very own stamps, print with ink and put together your own poster design. Be inspired by Oxford characters, like teh Cheshire Cat, or objects in our galleries, like our bright red bus, or create a poster about your favourite places, like Sally-Anne's prints.

This workshop is best suited for children aged 5-10. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Adults go free with a child's ticket.

Our later workshop, aimed at children aged 11-16, will explore more advanced techniques and materials. Please get in touch with Charlotte if you are unsure which workshop is suitable for your child.

Sally-Anne Stewart is a printmaker based in the Florence Park area, working chiefly in linocut. Her work is inspired by nature and also by the urban environment. She loves printmaking for its potential to transform subjects through bold lines, shapes and colours.
