About this Event

Welcome to the Post-Majority Support Services National Conference 2024 for First Nations youth and young adults, a cornerstone within the larger reform of the First Nations Child and Family Services (FNCFS) Program. Taking place from May 7 - 9, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta, this event is specifically crafted for Indigenous youth aged 16-25, as well as dedicated professionals working within Child and Family Services across Canada. Delve into an immersive experience where discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities will explore the immediate measures implemented from April 1, 2022, to support Indigenous youth transitioning into adulthood.

Our conference embraces the principles of cultural sensitivity, youth-centeredness, and a needs-based approach, fostering an environment where the unique needs and aspirations of Indigenous youth are prioritized. Be part of this transformative space that seeks to empower, educate, and create lasting positive outcomes for Indigenous youth and young adults across all provinces and territories. Together, let's shape a future where the voices and visions of Indigenous youth lead the way.
