Sebastian Clovis is the host of HGTV Canada’s Gut Job and has also appeared as a renovation expert on the network’s $ave My Reno, Tackle My Reno and Home To Win series. He is a licensed contractor and owner of his own contracting firm Clovis Contracting. He is also a former professional football player who won the Grey Cup with the BC Lions in 2006.

Jennifer Keesmaat (The Urban Planner) - CEO, The Keesmaat Group
Jennifer Keesmaat is an urban planner named one of the “most powerful people in Canada” by Macleans and one of the top Women of Infleunce in Canada. She spent half a decade as Toronto’s Chief City Planner, and is founding partner Markee Developments, where she is now developing new communities across the GTA as sustainable, livable and affordable places.
Michele Romanow (The Dragon) - Dragon on CBC’s Dragons’ Den; Co-founder & President, Clearco
Tech titan Michele Romanow is a serial entrepreneur who started five companies before her 33rd birthday. A “Dragon” on CBC’s hit show Dragons’ Den, Romanow is the co-founder and president of Canadian unicorn Clearco. Clearbanc has invested more than $3B into 6,000 companies, making them the biggest ecommerce investor in the world. Benjamin Tal (The Banker) - Deputy Chief Economist, CIBC World Markets Inc.
Benjamin Tal analyzes economic developments and their implications for North American fixed income, equity, foreign exchange and commodities markets. Well-known for his published research on labour market dynamics, real estate, credit markets, and international trade, Benjamin is often sought out by global media to set the agenda of the conversation.
Julia Mastroianni (Moderator) - Executive Editor, Post City Magazines
Julia Mastroianni is the executive editor at Post City Magazines. She previously worked as a housing and health writer at NOW Magazine, covering issues of affordable housing, tenant rights and homelessness in Toronto.
Aradhya Sood (Moderator) - Assistant Professor, Economic Analysis and Policy Area (UTSC), University of Toronto
Aradhya Sood is an empirical IO economist with research interests in Urban and Spatial Economics and Applied Microeconomics. Her research has focused on studying historical factors and current policies associated with land, urban development, and education and their effects on growth and social and economic inequality.
