Rosca Horsemanship is back for his Winter Workshop series at Derby College Equestrian Centre!
In the first workshop of Rosca Horsemanship's 'Winter Workshop' series, 'A Positive Approach' will be running on Monday 10th November at Derby College Equestrian Centre.
During this workshop, equine behaviour consultant and horseman, Ross Cooper, will be shining a spotlight on positive reinforcement in the training of our equines.
In this workshop we will cover:
- What Is Positive Reinforcement
- Learning Theory and it's Application
- Motivation & Reinforcement
- The Benefits of Positive Reinforcement
- Contraindications of Positive Reinforcement
- How to Safely Set-up Positive Reinforcement in Equine Training
Whether you are curious about positive reinforcement and wish to learn more, or would like information on how to safely integrate this in to your own training plan, this workshop will aim to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of how to do so.
The evening will follow Ross's known relaxed and informative teaching style, include a presentation talk, encouraged constructive discussion throughout followed by some interactive learning experiences!
