Yoga, journaling, and meaningful conversation come together in Tina Haapala’s 6-week workshop series, Poses and Pages. 📝🧘☕️🗣️✨ Each session begins with an energizing 7am yoga class to awaken body and mind, followed by time for reflection through journaling and community discussion over coffee or tea at Collective. Think of it as the best parts of a book club discussion - without the homework - and a midweek reset designed to inspire and motivate.Later in the week, you’ll receive an additional class recording with a similar theme. Throughout this time, you can journal privately or continue the discussion in The Tina Club’s private online discussion group.
This series is designed to be accessible for all levels. Beginners will find a supportive introduction to the physical movements and mental focus of a Vinyasa Yoga practice, with plenty of space to go at your own pace. Experienced yogis will also benefit by exploring their practice with fresh curiosity—examining what continually draws them back to the mat and discovering new ways to deepen their connection to both movement and mindfulness.

Tina is not only a Registered Yoga Teacher (200RYT), but also a published writer. She has contributed to six different Chicken Soup for the Soul books and writes regularly for Falls Town Neighbors magazine. Now, she’s bringing her two passions together at Balance Studio. “Every time we step on the mat we are creating a new story,” says Tina, “I wanted to offer this program as a way of providing intentional time to reflect on those lessons through discussion and journaling.”
