“Putting on the Face” Learning to draw the features is the first step in portrait work. Once you have the simple basic steps in creating an eye, a nose, and a mouth, the next step is to figure out how and where to place them on the face. Suitable for beginners with basic drawing skills.

“Coloring”. Portraits can be black and white, or just the focal points of the face colored, or a fully colored head and shoulders. Learn how to choose the right pigments/hues to create a variety of skin tones, how to to make accurate value and temperature changes that will give you a good likeness. Suitable for intermediate artists with painting, any media, experience.
