Portrait Drawing Workshop with Raquel Kueffner
Learn the proportion of the face and shading techniques to best capture a portrait. Led my AAC member, Raquel Kueffner, this workshop will prepare you to confidently join the portrait drawing session at The Port and depict beautiful representations of your fellow artists!
The Port hosts portrait drawing sessions every third Saturday of the month from 10am-noon — one pose for the duration of the session. Participates take turns modeling for these sessions.
Date of Workshop: Saturday, October, 1-3 PM
Location: The Port • 3620 Butler St, 15201
Parking available in the St. Padre Pio Parish parking lot on 37th St.
Workshop cost: $25. Payment can be made by cash, credit or check at the event.
Instructor Bio:
Raquel is a painter and an educator. She has taught a variety of medias including painting, drawing, and sewing. In her own practice, Raquel creates abstract and botanical watercolor paintings.
