Learn how to create a fabric portrait of Betty White by using my Portrait Method!
About this Event

I will teach you how to go from template to portrait using a condensed version of my Portrait Method. We will work-a-long with each other, and there will be plenty of time to chat and ask questions along the way! At the end of this class, we will all have a finished portrait of a celebrity / known figure that can be applied to a quilt, t-shirt, or hung as wall art!

Materials needed:

-1 yard of fabric in a 5 color radiant

-Ballpoint pen and an acrylic paint pen in white or chalk pencil to draw on dark fabric.

-an X-acto knife (preferable over a rotary cutter, you will see why)

-acid-free glue stick

-cutting board / mat

-piece of paper to glue on

-table to assemble

-printed off template of figure (I will send you the day before class)

some type of tape to tape the template together (Scotch works best!)

* you will not need a sewing machine for this class, we will be assembling with our hands!
