The Coaching UNconference
If you’re looking for career inspiration and professional development, what you don’t need is another presentation, book, or seminar planned months ahead of time. As coaches, what we really want out of an event is to experience community, connection and personal value.
The best and most meaningful professional development experiences are born from thought provoking discussions, creative collaboration, and new relationships - none of which happen in the overly controlled environment of your average conference ballroom, or while sitting in a lecture. At most events, the real magic is in the discussions and connections between sessions amongst the attendees.
So, we thought, why not create an event that focuses on the magic? Welcome to the Coaching UNconference!
The Goal
The goal of this UNconference is to bring forth the brightest minds in the coaching community that feel strongly about the topic of coaching, and create a unique experience that covers the topics of YOUR choice.
Whether you’re interested in improving your coaching skills, exploring a specific field of coaching (like executive coaching or health coaching), or learning business and marketing as a self-employed coach, we’ve got you covered. Why? Because YOU get to set the agenda for this conference. Once the agenda is created (at the event), you’ll have opportunities to connect and learn, all while having fun and making it what you want it to be.
The Process
So, what exactly is an ‘UNconference?’
Think of this as an open conference that is driven by its participants. Unlike traditional conferences, an UNconference allows for flexibility, open discussion, and debate, all fueled by its attendees. Innovative conversations with some of the brightest people, about the most interesting topics. Discussions without any formal agenda, and unplanned dialogue driven ultimately by whatever peaks your interest most.
UNconferences are proven to be highly productive for whatever issues people feel most strongly about. EXPECT fascinating questions, surprising results, inspiring quotes, unexpected laughter, and engaging work.
Why attend?

This UNconference is your chance to learn from others in the coaching profession, seek out answers, and openly ask questions about whatever matters most to you.

Build a collaborative network, establish partnerships, and be in a close community with a diverse group of people who share similar values and interests.

Open your awareness to new ideas for yourself, your coaching, or your business.

Be exposed to the latest coaching trends and issues, new projects, emerging businesses and tools.

How Does it Work?
Simple. We provide the theme — coaching. When you arrive, we will kick off with an ice-breaker, introduce everyone, then our facilitator will guide us to collectively build the day's agenda around your needs, interests, and areas of expertise.
The sessions will be broken up into 45-minute discussions. Dedicated spaces are reserved for gatherings and sessions throughout the day.
Who should attend?
If you took the time to read through all of this, then YOU! The event is open to anyone with an interest in the topic of coaching. The goal is to bring together a diverse mix of individuals and professionals from all types of coaching backgrounds, and all skill levels.
Whether you’re a seasoned coach, or fresh out of coach school taking your first steps in the profession, we invite you to join us. Whether you’re working for a company, or you’re a self-employed coach running your own business, you are welcome. And no matter who you coach - executives, entrepreneurs, yogis, athletes, soccer moms (or soccer dads), wellness-seekers, or someone else we haven’t thought ot - we wholeheartedly invite you to join us.
Not a coach, but interested in coaching? You’re welcome to join us, too!
