*Hike Lite*: Suitable for all fitness levels and members of all ages! Perfect for novice hikers, photographers, and those wanting to slow down in nature. Hikes range from 1-3.5 miles with minimal or no elevation gain. Trails will be soft surfaces (loose gravel, dirt, wood chips), paved or a mixture of both. Most Hike Lite events will take place in local city and state parks.

A slow summer morning on a local wildlife refuge trail with Women Who Explore: Portland!

Join WWE: Portland ambassadors Lexx, Kaylene and Kristina for a 3.29-mile morning walk through 1,856 acres of wetlands and lowlands -- the Tualation Wildlife Refuge Center.

Don't forget to bring your bincoulars and camera for wildlife watching, if you have them!

*Hike Lites* are centered around connecting with each other and nature. We encourage everyone to slow down and notice the beautiful earth and wildlife around us at these events.
