Come join us for a day of making vegan burritos and distributing them throughout the community!There are multiple opportunities for service:
Prep: 10:30 - 12:30 (chopping veggies, mostly)
Rolling: 12:30 - 1:30 (once everything is cooked we turn em into burritos!)
Cleanup: 1:30 - 2:00 (we leave the kitchen in better shape than we found it)
Distro: 1:30 - 3:00 (and then we deliver warm, fresh food to the community)
Feel free to stay for some or all portions! If you're pressed for time, consider swinging by in the afternoon for a quick round of distro.
Accessibility: We meet in the basement; there is a ramp or stairs to enter directly from the 58th Ave side of the building.
Chopping and rolling can be done while seated.
Masking: We are not currently masking, and share the building with other users who do not mask. If a masked event would be more accessible to you, please email [email protected] so that we can work out an accommodation.
