This 8-week class is great for students ages 14-19 who want to check all the college readiness boxes! Develop a unique, dynamic portfolio while expanding on your fundamental drawing and painting skills. Primarily working from observation, you will learn to balance life drawing with imaginative and photo based references. Students will create still life drawings and paintings, self portraits, live model portraits, and original works of art. Students are required to bring a sketchbook.This class will prepare students for advanced classes such as Portfolio Development II, Senior Project, live model courses, and college applications.
Class Dates: September 5, 2025 - November 7, 2025
8 Fridays, 5:30pm–8:30pm, *No class 10/3 and 10/31*
