Venez découvrir les fruits de la résidence de l’artiste Mathilde Forest et dialoguez avec elle de son travail à travers l’installation de son œuvre Necropolis : les villes-récifs. Le projet se veut une restitution par l’installation vidéo et sonore de paysages coralliens blanchis – véritables cités abandonnées – qui tapissent désormais le fond des océans. Avec une caméra sous-marine et des hydrophones, l’œuvre propose une incursion dans ces immenses récifs qui ont été laissés vacants par les organismes vivants.Joignez-vous à nous le samedi 1er novembre de 15h à 17h au studio Multifonction et plongez dans les profondeurs d’un projet multidisciplinaire fascinant en compagnie de l’artiste qui lui a donné vie !

Come discover the results of artist Mathilde Forest’s residency and chat with her about her process through the installation of her work Necropolis: les villes-récifs. The piece is a video and sound installation that reconstructs bleached coral landscapes— true abandoned cities—that now line the ocean floor. Using an underwater camera and hydrophones, the piece offers a glimpse into these immense reefs that have been left vacant by living organisms.
