The Step Up and Lead conference is a training and workshop experience for emergency service workers in management or preparing to “step up” into leadership roles.Far too many in leadership positions fail when it comes to team building. They miss out on the results great leaders see when they harness the power of a group working together toward a common goal. It comes down to simply knowing how to develop and motivate a team.
In this conference you’ll learn to:
• Motivate personnel and create unity.
• Develop culture by design rather than default.
• Build a championship-caliber team for the quickest way to reach goals.
This interactive culture development program includes a presentation from internationally recognized speaker and former deputy chief, Frank Viscuso. Through his “Step Up and Lead” presentation, Viscuso will lead conference attendees in leadership and team building workshop topics.
This conference is open to emergency service workers including fire/EMS, law enforcement, healthcare, military, and emergency government agencies.
Pre-registration is required.
Class Fee: $25 per attendee. (Registration fees for members of agencies within the Portage County Fire Chiefs Association are covered through sponsorship by PCFCA.)
