Join professional snorkel leaders and marine biologists for a guided wreck snorkel at Port Willunga Beach. The reef is the final resting place of the shipwreck 'Star of Greece' and home to an amazing variety of colourful fish and plant life.
This snorkel requires fitness and confidence in water as there is a 600m beach walk followed by a 120m swim out to wreck which is up to 5m deep.
*Note - this snorkel requires fitness and confidence in the water and intermediate to advanced snorkel experience as there is a 600m beach walk followed by a 120m swim out to wreck which is up to 5m deep.
We Provide a wetsuit, mask (goggles), snorkel, fins (flippers), and an accredited guide.
We have wetsuits from adult 5XL down to child 4.
All wetsuits are washed, and mask/snorkels sterilised between use.
Bring your own wetsuit, mask and snorkel if you have them.
Children 5 and over and people of all abilities, who are confident in the water and can swim at least 25 metres can come along.
One adult carer per 2 children 15 and under - the adult must supervise at all times.
A person living with a disability must be supervised and supported by an adult Carer, we accept companion card.
EMS can provide an immersive wheelchair, modified wetsuits and extra floatation devices if given 10 days warning.
If you require extra assistance or have any special requirements, please tell us when booking your ticket. We might call you to make sure we have the right things to support you on the day.
Please get there 30 minutes before your start time, you will have to fill out forms and put on your wetsuit and snorkel gear.
Everyone must wear a wetsuit (or safety vest).
Toilets and picnic tables are available. There is a cafe nearby.

Save both Sunday 23rd February and Sunday 9th March in your calendar. This event is scheduled for Sunday 23rd February but if the event is cancelled we will reschedule to Sunday 9th March.
Alternate location on southerly wind/swell:
If wind and swell from north/west causes cancellation of this snorkel tour we will re-locate to Second Valley.
