Event Description
Hear from candidates for the Port of Bellingham Commission answer questions about waterfront development, Port direction and more at this special event. Hosted by the Whatcom Working Waterfront Coalition - a non-partisan organization that is made of community businesses and members to promote our waterfronts. The forum will be moderated by an independent moderator and attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions at the beginning of the event to potentially be answered by the candidates, if enough time remains after the formal panel questions are through.
This year, Michael Shepard runs unopposed in District 1, while Ken Bell and Carly James run for District 2. Hear from all three about their ideas, visions, concerns, and favorite waterfront feature at this in-person-only event.
