This beloved original staging of “The Nutcracker” returns as the family event of the holiday, bringing together over 100 Peninsula ballet artists, theatre performers, and leading guest artists. Set to Tchaikovsky’s traditional score, this home-grown production pays tribute to the rich history of life on the Peninsula, as it follows two American children, Marie & Frank, through the Nutcracker story told through the lens of the Civil war era of 1895.
