Porridge Radio, c’est un quatuor explosif originaire de Brighton mené par la très charismatique Dana Margolin. Régulièrement dans le viseur de The Line of Best Fit ou de Pitchfork, le troisième album studio « Waterslide, Diving Board, Ladder to the Sky » était acclamé par ce dernier, confirmant leur statut de formation connue comme l’une des plus excitantes de la scène indie rock britannique.
En phase avec son art, Porridge Radio a su tirer son épingle du jeu en misant sur une personnalité au caractère bien trempé, une progression régulière depuis ses débuts en 2016 et la voix unique de Margolin. Après une tournée à travers plusieurs continents, Porridge Radio s’arrête au Botanique pour faire vibrer ses murs et y faire chavirer des cœurs.

Porridge Radio wist al in korte tijd trouwe fans van de alternatieve DIY-scene aan zich te binden. De scherpe humor en snijdende intensiteit van de band belandden hen eerder al op de nominatielijst van de felbegeerde Mercury Music Prize en The Guardian's 'Favourites To Watch'.
Met hun nieuwste album Waterslide, Diving Board, Ladder To The Sky maakt de uit Brighton afkomstige band hun naam waar. Porridge Radio is namelijk dromerig maar intens, zacht maar scherp, breedbeeld en toch totaal intiem. Ook dit jaar staat er weer een gloednieuw album op de planning.
