This year’s theme, “Adventure Begins at Your Library!” encourages children and teens to discover the world and other cultures through reading. The Summer Reading Program, open to youth from infants to young adults, features weekly programs, storytimes, a reading club, and more. In line with these efforts to encourage reading throughout the summer, the Florence County Library will offer special summer programs for grades 5K-5th held onWednesdays at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Joseph Stukes Meeting Room. Seating will be limited and must be reserved. Admission is free to all programs. For the fourth program of the summer, the Florence County Library will welcome
Porkchop Productions. Porkchop Productions is a professional theatre company specializing in audience participation performances. Porkchop Productions will perform the production The Totally Twisted Tale of the Three Little Pigs. This event will take place on Wednesday, July 3 rd at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the
Florence County Library. Parents and caregivers can visit or call the children’s library at (843) 292-7382 starting June 26th to reserve seating for this event. Registration will end on Tuesday, July 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
