About this Event
You're officially invited by Porchlight to enjoy a documentary about L'Abri in order to build further community and celebrate the gift of hospitality.
ABOUT THE FILM
A Kingdom of Tea & Strangers is a feature documentary chronicling one summer at English L'Abri, a short-term Christian community providing shelter for spiritually-homeless people and a hospitable space for honest questions. The film follows a group of students from around the world as they grapple with finding spirituality and belonging in their lives back home. In this way, the story transcends L'Abri and becomes a broader exploration of embodied hospitality, what it means to be human and live well with other people, and the characteristics of the kingdom of God.
