Porches is a GAP grant awardee.Porches, told in a series of vignettes beginning during the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre and culminating in the 1960s during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, embraces the destruction, devastation, and, ultimately, hope of the people of Greenwood. This powerful story using poetry, music, and drama, is told by an exceptional all African American female cast.
