Porchella is a free, neighborhood jam that will take place in Norfolk, VA on Saturday Dec 27 from 6-9pm. Neighbors offer up their porches to musicians for 30 min concerts of all types! It's basically reverse caroling. 🙂 This year it is open to multiple Norfolk neighborhoods to spread the joy! (Colonial Place, Riverview, Ghent, West Ghent, Oceanview, etc). As long as we have five porches within walking distance of each other, we will include that neighborhood on the map so rope in your neighbors if you want to participate!Bring cash to tip your musicians as they are donating their time and skills! We will also have Venmo QR codes on the porches to make it easier to tip!
Please stay out of the street and wear lights to stay safe. THIS IS A LEAVE NO TRACE EVENT. Pack any trash and take it home with you. Thank you all for participating! This is our fifth year doing this and we have been so impressed by how respectful everyone has been of the neighborhoods! Let's keep the streak going!
