Southern Fried Chanukah is returning! We missed celebrating Chanukah with everyone last year and are so excited to celebrate and light the candles as a community together in person. There will be fun for all ages as we celebrate with lots of latkes, fried chicken, candle lighting, and singing. Young Adults, Young Couples, and Families with Young Children are welcome! Our aim is to have plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate everyone’s comfort level (weather pending). We are bringing back the ugly Chanukah sweater contest! Wear your best and brightest Chanukah outfit and we will be giving out prizes for the best of the best.
You can also participate in our “get lit” table. Deliver some cans of your favorite beverage (e.g. beer, cider, margarita, virgin piña colada) to the “get lit” table and take what looks good to you that others have contributed.
